AccessGrate™ pultruded grating is the workhorse of all FRP gratings. We stock it in standard sizes: 3 ft x 10 ft, or 4 ft x 10 ft.  AccessGrate™ pultruded grating combines high rigidity and aesthetic appeal with:

• corrosion resistance
• slip resistance
• class 1 fire retardance
• light weight
• impact resistance

Please contact our engineering team to inquire which grade, thickness and size is most suitable for you. Our stocked 2″, 50% open area pultruded grating is an excellent choice in areas where large spans, up to 1500 mm, are required and where there is a minimum of penetrations.

Molded FRP Grating

AccessGrate™ molded gratings are suitable for a wide range of corrosive environments and are available in standard sizes 3ft x 10ft, 5ft x 10ft and 4ft x 12ft.  AccessGrate™ molded gratings deflect more than AccessGrate™ pultruded gratings, but because of their bidirectional molded structure, they are an economical choice in areas where a large number of penetrations through the grating is required for ducts and pipes. They are also a good choice in areas where a high UV resistance is required. AccessGrate™ molded grating has all the familiar benefits of FRP Grating Canada such as:

• corrosion resistance
• slip resistance
• class 1 fire retardance
• low weight
• superior impact resistance

Please contact our engineering team to inquire which grade, thickness and size is most suitable for you. Our stocked 1.5 inch, 1.5″ mesh for example is an excellent choice in areas with lots of cuts and limited support. For 1.5 inch molded grating we recommend a max span of 3 ft at pedestrian loads to maintain floor stiffness. Our stocked 2-inch grating can be used for spans up to 4′ at pedestrian loads. We carry these gratings in various grades, finishes and colors.
